Our EYFS Unit

Nursery (aged 3 and above) and Reception children share beautiful, purpose-built accommodation in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Unit. Funded places are available and you may choose to take your entitlement flexibly over mornings or afternoons. Please call our EYFS lead Miss Jackson on 01947 893373 if you would like to talk about our provision or arrange a visit. 

Childcare for Nursery-Aged Children (3 and above)

In addition to 15 or 30 hours' funded nursery sessions, we offer paid-for childcare in the same setting, with our experienced Early Years staff.

Morning Session

9:00 – 12:00



Lunchtime Session

12:00 – 12:45


Lunch £1.60 if required

Afternoon Session

12:45 – 3:15



Full day in nursery

9:00 – 3:15

Childcare for All Ages

Places are available in our brilliant Seashells Club, which lets us offer care for your child from 8:00am to 5:15pm. The club is run by our highly experienced support staff, Mrs Corner, Mrs Firth & Mrs Trowsdale.

 As well as breakfast or a teatime snack there are lots of activities on offer: arts & crafts, baking, homework help, films, computers, PE activities including badminton and table tennis or simply playing and relaxing with friends – whatever your child would like to do. 

 Whether you need one-off emergency childcare, occasional sessions or a longer-term arrangement, we would be delighted to hear from you – please ring Mrs Welford on 893373 at any time for current rates or to make a booking.


There are three sessions available:

8:00am - 9:00am

3:15pm - 4:15pm

4:15pm - 5:15pm

 Please note that all bookings should be made by telephone rather than email.








Your support for your child’s education is crucial to their progress.  Please tell us if there are any adjustments we need to make to help you support your child, for example: letters in large font; letters in different languages; wheelchair access; explaining things over the phone; a discussion with a school colleague of the same sex.


Newsletters are published on our Facebook page and also on Dojo and Tapestry every week for school families.
